Cupid's Request (1-stanza only)

Here's a one stanza poem that I made for 'tividi'.

My brain ran out of reasons to pursue you;

but my heart can't seem to let you go.

Cupid urged me to stop waiting for you;

but my heart keeps on telling him no.
